Weekend happenings

Hi ya'll! What a great weekend we had spent with friends and family! I am starting training in my new job this week and I am LOVING it so far! I officially start my new position next week and have never been more excited! S has a huge golf tournament this weekend so I am hoping he plays his best and brings home the gold! He got some awesome new Oakley's today for his tournament- he is so excited!!

This past weekend was a pretty fun weekend- we went out to dinner with the family, went shopping, and I even cooked dinner and made 6 loaves of banana bread- which was amazing!! Emmie had to go to the groomer on Friday, which she was not happy about, but she looks so much better. She is scared of everything so when I leave her at the groomer she thinks I am abandoning her. We live like 3 blocks over from our groomer though so I walked her there instead of driving her so she would think we were on a walk- cheap trick, I know. I created a new favorite snack this week- fresh strawberries and eat them with a Lorna Doone shortbread cookie 100 calorie pack- it taste like strawberry shortcake and it is somewhat healthy!! Well hello!

Well hello! It has been forever. Life has been hectic to say the least. But we have gotten so much accomplished while I have been MIA. S has started having weekends off every weekend so that has been amazing because we have spent a lot more time together. Let's see- we have registered at Target and Bed, Bath, and Beyond! We have our invites and guest list almost completed! We bought a TV finally and now have Direct TV which is being hooked up today! Tuxes have been picked out. Bridesmaid dresses are picked out and I have sent out my "will you be my bridesmaid" cards! Our theme/colors for our wedding have been pretty much hammered down. We went to Atlanta a few weekends ago and saw The Braves opening series(yay MLB) and we saw Hank Williams Jr and Jamey Johnson is concert- it was a pretty awesome weekend! I also was offered a promotion at work which I gladly took! So all in all a lot has happened.

We had a great couple of hectic weeks!!

Hope everyone has a great day with family and friends. I am currently working, but spreading the Easter joy while at work. I figure patients do not want to be in the hospital for Easter and I do not want to work on Easter, but we might as well make the best of it with a smile on our face! My Wedding Ideas

So considering I am marrying the love of my life in about 6 months- I have some things to do for sure!! I am a little behind in planning but I have my dress so I feel like all is well. My mom on the other hand is starting to freak out because I have about zero things planned. I have a date, I have a dress, I have a venue (wedding and reception), and I have a wedding party (they just don't know it yet). So I guess my mom might be right( I hate admitting that). Well today I did some visualization in my head and the pics I found kind of describe all the thoughts in my head right now- sit back, relax, and enjoy my thoughts!

Groupon

Hi ya'll! Lately I have been obsessed with buying Groupons! I have bought oil changes, pearl earrings, and today I even bought a personalized self-inking stamp!! I am so excited about that purchase because it was only $25 and is originally $49.99!! What a deal-- 50% off!!! It is great since S and I just moved into our house and now we can send mail out with a personalized stamp! Yayy!!! It was through Groupon but through the website Invitation Box. Check it out they have some awesome stamps! Now I am going to have the issue of picking out which awesome stamp I want. Here are a few of the ones I like!!

We had a great weekend with family and friends! We lost a good friend this weekend- S had a teacup poodle that was 14 years old and he died over the weekend which was upsetting. Poor S. He wants to get an English Bulldog now and name him Roscoe- we will see what happens with that idea.

Rue La La

Yes. It has been a long time. But in other news Life is Good! Rue La La is an awesome members only type website but today an invite is going out to anyone who is not a member. Rue La La has designer items for cheaper- that is the best way to describe it. They sell Lilly, Ray Bans, Jack Rogers, Columbia, Le Cruset- you name it and on a day to day basis they might sell it.
